| The North District is the northernmost of Hong Kong's 18 districts. Located northeast of the New Territories, it comprises the Sheung Shui, Fanling, Ta Kwu Ling, and Sha Tau Kok wards. Its population was 315,270 in 2016, up from 298,657 in 2001.
