| Mount Falcon Park boasts excellent trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and is located a short drive west of Denver. While the mountain views from below are spectacular on clear days, the views from Mount Falcon Park, just outside the town of Morrison, offer stunning vistas in the opposite direction. | |
| Climbing to an elevation of 1,700 feet (approximately 450 meters) on the Castle and Turkey Trot trails, visitors can reach the summit. A 1.3-mile (approximately 2.1 km) hike on the Castle trail, a winding path up the mountain with many sharp turns, then connecting with the Turkey Trot trail for another 1.7 miles (approximately 2.1 km) to reach the park's summit. | |
