Inspiration Point is a hiking area in Santa Barbara, California. The trail begins near the end of the pavement and is wide and maintained. The trail climbs through shady chaparral to a small summit which is another Edison access road, dirt this time. The summit is indistinct, except for the fact that when you reach it you have a beautiful view of the city, the ocean and the Channel Islands. |
Arlington Peak | |

If the day is clear and the marine layer minimal, we will be gifted grand views of the ocean and the Channel Islands. It can be reached by a short hike of less than a mile from the top of Gibraltar Road. This will give us plenty of time to explore and wander amongst the boulders and beautiful pine trees. |
