| The cathedral is built in a traditional Russian Orthodox style, with five golden domes and intricate decoration. It is made entirely of wood, with no nails or metal fastenings, using an ancient technique called "interlocking log construction". This technique involves cutting the logs in a way that allows them to fit tightly together without the need for nails or screws. The cathedral has been used for various purposes over the years, including as a museum, a cinema, and a concert hall.
